Preorder Policy – KidBX

1. What is a Preorder?

A preorder allows our customers to reserve a scale model before its official release or before it becomes available in stock.

These products are directly ordered from the manufacturers and will be delivered once received in our warehouses.

2. General Terms and Conditions for Preorders

By placing a preorder on our website, you accept the following terms:

  • A preorder is a firm reservation for a specific product.
  • Delivery times are estimated and may be subject to change by the manufacturer.
  • All preorders require full payment in advance at the time of ordering.

3. Delivery Times and Availability

  • The delivery times indicated on the product pages are for guidance only.
  • We are not responsible for any delays in production or shipping from the manufacturers.
  • Once the products are in stock at our warehouses, preorders will be shipped in the order of payment received.

4. Cancellation and Refund

By the customer:

  • A preorder cannot be cancelled, except if the availability date in our warehouse is more than 6 months later than the expected date.
  • If the cancellation is accepted, a store credit (valid only on our website) will be issued. No cash refunds will be provided.

By the store:

  • We reserve the right to cancel a preorder in the event of:
    • Cancellation of the model by the manufacturer.
  • In this case, a full refund will be issued.

5. Returns and Exchanges

  • Preordered items are not accepted for returns or exchanges, except in the case of an apparent manufacturing defect.
  • If the product received is defective, you must contact us within 48 hours of receipt and provide photos of the issue.
  • In case the return is accepted:
    • An exchange will be offered based on the availability of the model.
    • If an exchange is not possible, a store credit (valid only on our website) will be issued.

6. Price Changes After Preorder

  • In the event of a price increase by the manufacturer, we reserve the right to apply an increase on preorders.
  • The order will only be shipped once the remaining balance is paid by the customer.
  • If the customer refuses to pay the price difference, they may cancel their preorder and receive a full refund.

7. Preorder Validation and Stock Availability

All preorders placed on our website are subject to validation before final confirmation.

Our preorders are directly linked to very limited stock from the manufacturers, and this stock may be sold out at any time.

Thus, your order will be officially accepted only after receiving our confirmation.

If we find that the stock is depleted at the manufacturer, we will notify you immediately. You will then have two options:

  • Wait for potential restocking from the manufacturer.
  • Cancel your order and receive a full refund.

We do our best to ensure the availability of the models offered for preorder, but we cannot guarantee the reservation until confirmation from the manufacturer is received.

8. Commitment and Responsibility

  • By placing a preorder, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
  • We are committed to informing customers of any updates regarding their preorder.
  • We are not responsible for any changes to the design, color, or finish decided by the manufacturer.
